Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all cancellations, changes, and refund requests for bookings made with JV Transport Service Pvt. Ltd. ("JVT", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read this Policy carefully before confirming your booking. By completing a booking, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.
1. How to Request a Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be communicated directly to our reservations desk. We do not accept cancellations via the website alone. Please contact us through any of the following channels:

Please have your booking reference number ready when contacting us. Our team will confirm the cancellation and advise you of any applicable charges.
2. Cancellation After Chauffeur Dispatch
Once a chauffeur has been dispatched and has reached the designated pickup point or destination, a cancellation fee of ₹500 is applicable. This fee is charged to cover the chauffeur's travel time, fuel, and associated costs incurred in reaching the pickup location.
The remaining balance (if any) after deducting the cancellation fee will be refunded to the original payment method within the timeline specified in Section 6 below.
3. Airport Transfers — Waiting Time
For airport transfer bookings, JVT provides a complimentary waiting period of 30 minutes from the assigned pickup time (for departures) or from the confirmed flight arrival time (for arrivals, tracked using the flight number provided at booking).
Waiting time beyond the complimentary 30-minute window is chargeable as per the applicable rate for the booked vehicle category. Our reservations desk can confirm the applicable waiting charges for your vehicle at the time of booking.
4. Change of Scope or Destination
If the scope of a booking changes materially during service delivery — for example, an airport transfer that is subsequently converted into a full-day local rental, or a destination that changes significantly from the one confirmed at the time of booking — the following applies:
- Our billing team will compute the revised fare based on the actual service delivered, applying the applicable rate for the vehicle category and service type.
- The Customer will be billed the updated amount, which will be charged and settled at the end of the ride.
- Where the change results in a lower fare than originally paid, the difference will be refunded to the original payment method within the timeline specified in Section 6 below.
Customers are encouraged to inform our reservations desk of any anticipated changes as early as possible so we can plan accordingly.
5. No-Show Policy
If a Customer fails to appear at the designated pickup location within the complimentary waiting period (as described in Section 3 above for airport transfers, or within a reasonable waiting period for other bookings) and has not communicated with our reservations desk, the journey will be treated as a no-show. In such cases:
- The full booking fare may be charged with no refund.
- JVT will make reasonable attempts to contact the Customer via the phone number provided at the time of booking before marking the booking as a no-show.
6. Refund Method & Timeline
Where a refund is due, it will be processed as follows:
- Refund method: All eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking (credit/debit card, UPI, bank transfer, etc.).
- Refund timeline: Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation by JVT. The time for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
- For cash bookings, refunds will be coordinated directly with the Customer via our reservations desk.
7. Pre-Trip Cancellations
Cancellations made before a chauffeur has been dispatched are generally eligible for a full or partial refund, subject to the notice period given and the type of booking. Please contact our reservations desk for the specific terms applicable to your booking, as these may vary by vehicle category, booking type, and lead time.
